New Samsung Wonderland update lets you share wallpapers

Samsung Galaxy users can now share their custom wallpapers created using the Wonderland Good Lock module. The latest update for the app brings support for sharing wallpapers through Galaxy To Share.

Wonderland is a relatively new Good Lock module for supported Galaxy smartphones. Launched in the second half of 2020, it lets you create custom wallpapers for your Galaxy device. The app offers a host of settings and styles, including graphical elements, 3D effects, video effects, stickers, and more. You can customize existing templates or design your own wallpapers from the ground up using photos from your gallery. Either way, you can come up with unique wallpapers found nowhere else.

Unfortunately, all this while, you couldn’t share your creations with other users. At least not in a convenient way. You could take screenshots of your wallpaper and share the screenshot, but that often doesn’t do justice to your work. Thankfully, Samsung has taken note of this and is now adding Galaxy To Share support to Wonderland. “Support wallpaper sharing through Galaxy To Share,” the company states in the changelog for the latest version (1.2.29) of the app on the Galaxy Store (via).

Galaxy To Share is an even newer Good Lock module that lets you share app settings from other modules with compatible Galaxy devices. It debuted last November but lacked support for Wonderland at launch. Samsung has now joined the two modules together with the latest update for the latter. The new version of Wonderland seemingly doesn’t bring any other changes or new features. Nonetheless, if you use this Good Lock module to design custom wallpapers, this update will make sharing those wallpapers a lot easier.

Samsung should launch Wonderland as a standalone app for creating wallpapers

Considering how awesome Samsung Wonderland is for creating custom wallpapers for Galaxy devices, its limited availability is a shame. The Korean firm offers this app as a Good Lock module, which means it’s only available where Good Lock has been launched. Moreover, it only works on Galaxy devices that are compatible with Good Lock.

It would be much better if Samsung launched Wonderland as a standalone app. Hopefully, it would consider this someday in the future. For the time being, you’ll have to rely on Good Lock to access this app. If you use Wonderland to create custom wallpapers, you can click the button below to download the latest version of the app from the Galaxy Store.
