Warcraft Rumble soft launch expands to new regions

Earlier this month Blizzard officially soft launched Warcraft Rumble in the Philippines, and now is expanding that soft launch to new regions. This is after many months of the game being available in a closed beta. There have been a few change since that time, including the slightly revised name. As you may have noticed, the “Arclight” portion no loinger exists. It’s simply Warcraft Rumble for a shorter and snappier pronunciation.

With the new soft launch regions going live today, Warcraft Rumble is getting ever closer to a full global launch. And when that happens, expect gameplay to shoot through the roof in terms of multiplayer content. If you haven’t already done so, you can also pre-register for the game. This will not only afford you a notification about its official release, but you’ll get some in-game rewards too. So, definitely worth it if you plan to play the game.

Warcraft Rumble soft launch includes six new countries

If you’re eager to play the game, cross your fingers that your region is now included. Even if it isn’t though, chances are a global launch isn’t far off. The initial soft launch which only included the Philippines was on August 8. That was only 9 days ago and now Blizzard is adding six more countries. Which seems to suggest it’s rolling out access at a fairly quick pace. Even if only bit by bit to stagger loads on servers.

With regards to the newly added regions, players in Canada, Australia, Denmark, Finland, Sweden, and Norway can now access the game too. Unfortunately, US players are still left out. But a similar thing happened with Diablo Immortal so this isn’t a huge surprise. Blizzard doesn’t mention where its next region expansion for the game will be. But keep a close eye on it because more regions may be added in the next couple of weeks at this rate.

Warcraft Rumble is a free-to-play game set in the Warcraft universe with gameplay mechanics similar to Crash Royale. It’ll be available on both Android and iOS later this year.
