Vivo X200 Ultra could get an Action Button too

The upcoming Vivo X200 Ultra could end up featuring an Action Button too. Considering the source, chances are quite high. The information comes from Digital Chat Station, one of the best-known and most accurate tipsters.

The Vivo X200 Ultra is expected to utilize a customizable Action Button too

That button will allegedly be placed in the lower part of the frame, on the right side, exactly where you’d expect it. The OPPO Find X8 Pro delivered something similar, and OPPO is Vivo’s sister company. We’ve also seen something of the sort on the new iPhones.

The tipster says that the button will be used mainly for photography, but chances are it will be customizable. The phone itself is expected to arrive in April. Digital Chat Station claims it will happen in mid to late April.

He once again reiterated that the phone is coming with three cameras on the back. A 50-megapixel main camera will be included, along with a 50-megapixel ultrawide camera, and a 200-megapixel periscope telemacro camera.

Three immensely capable cameras will sit on the back

Vivo will also pack in a next-gen in-house imaging chip, while ZEISS will be the cherry on the top here. We’ve already talked about the Vivo X200 Ultra cameras in previous leaks, but let’s reiterate.

The main and ultrawide cameras will both utilize a 1/1.28-inch sensor size. What’s interesting here is that the main camera will default to 1.5x aka 35mm focal length. The ultrawide unit will default to 1x.

That 200-megapixel periscope telemacro camera will likely be the same one as on the Vivo X200 Pro. We’re looking at a 1/1.4-inch image sensor which has done an outstanding job in our testing.

The ultrawide camera is getting a major upgrade

So, the only new camera here will be that ultrawide unit, and that’s a major improvement compared to the ultrawide shooter on the Vivo X200 Pro, that’s for sure. Vivo will include three immensely capable camera sensors, and with Vivo’s processing and ZEISS, we have high expectations here.

We do hope that the Vivo X200 Ultra will launch globally, that it will not stay exclusive to China. Its predecessor was launched in China only, unfortunately.
