Leaked: LG Optimus 3D Smiles for the Camera

Courtesy of Phandroid comes our first look at what is believed to be the LG Optimus 3D, or at least an LG 3D Android. According to a source, the name of the device couldn’t be confirmed, but it will likely be featuring a 4.3 inch touchscreen, a dual-core processor  with multi-channel memory, with NVIDIA’s Tegra 2. We’ll have to wait until its expected debut at Mobile World Congress 2011 to confirm those specs, but so far so good.

LG did just send out a teaser for their press event (see below) which takes place February 14th, where they will be taking the world, specifically the Android world, “Into The New Dimension.” Of course that can only mean one thing. LG Mobile’s CEO was also just qouted on LG’s 3D future saying:

“With our key understanding of displays, entertainment and mobile technology, LG is looking forward to debuting this exciting new way to watch 3D movies or play games on your mobile phone” and “LG sees tremendous growth potential in the 3D mobile display market.”

Whether or not the leaked photo we have is part of that new dimension will be laid to rest soon enough. Be sure to check back for more LG updates as they come in, and remember MWC is right around the corner.
