T-Mobile Launch Calendar Leaked, Galaxy S III LTE Launching In Late March

T-Mobile announced a LTE-compatible Galaxy S III back in January, but ever since, the carrier has been mum as to when we would be able to actually purchase the device. Well, according to a new image from the often-reliable TmoNews, we still have a disappointingly long wait ahead.

The blog has obtained an internal launch calendar for T-Mobile that details the dates for several upcoming devices. The Samsung Galaxy S III T999L is currently slated to launch on either March 27th or April 3. The T-Mobile Sonic 2.0 LTE HotSpot will launch on March 27th, while the Pebble Gray Galaxy Exhibit will launch on that same day. The Galaxy Exhibit was just announced earlier this morning with no specific release date.

  • T-Mobile Sonic 2.0 Mobile HotSpot LTE – Launches March 27th, post and prepaid
  • Samsung T599 Galaxy Exhibit Pebble Gray – Launches March 27th, postpaid
  • Samsung T599 Galaxy Exhibit Pebble Gray – Launches March 27th, prepaid
  • RIM BlackBerry Z10 Black – Launches March 27th
  • Samsung T999L Galaxy S III LTE – Launches March 27th or April 3rd

As far as the Galaxy S III LTE goes, we have no reason to expect any delays. The model T-Mobile will sell is essentially identical to the models already being sold by AT&T, Verizon, and Sprint. As far as the other devices go, it’s hard to know if we’ll see any delays or not, but we’ll be sure to keep you posted. March 27th sure looks to be a busy day for Magenta, though.

T-Mobile’s LTE network is currently available in Kansas City and is slated to go live any day in Las Vegas, Nevada. A plethora of devices already carry support for Magenta’s new and improved 4G network, though with the Galaxy S 4 right around the corner, we’re hesitant to recommend you go out and sign a new two-year agreement for any of those devices. T-Mobile’s new LTE Galaxy S III will likely be nearly identical to the model already sold, though hopefully it will come with a price drop. If you are considering a new T-Mobile phone, you may want to hold out and see what the Galaxy S 4 has in store and when it will be sold here in the states.
