Blue HTC One To Be Released By Sprint On September 10th

The HTC One has been a massive hit for HTC. It’s exactly what they needed to turn the company around. HTC is building on the success of the One with the One Mini and upcoming One Max. They are also releasing a new color option for the original One. It will be coming out in a metallic blue color. According to a tip sent in to Phone Arena, Sprint will have their version of the blue HTC One available beginning September 10th.

We have seen leaked photos of the One in blue over the past several days. These leaks all pointed to the blue One landing on Verizon, but now we know Sprint is planning on stocking the new color option as well. Sprint currently offers the device in black, silver, and red. The addition of this blue option gives Sprint customers 4 choices. Sprint is also selling the HTC One for just $99.99 with a two-year contract. That’s a great price for one of the best phones on the market, which we discovered in our review.

With the launch of the HTC One Mini last month, and the rumored HTC Max being announced next week at IFA, HTC is on pace for a big comeback year. The quality of these devices is one of the reasons consumers are drawn to them. The HTC One is made of tooled aluminum and currently has the highest pixel density of any smartphone available at 468ppi (pixels per inch). The HTC One Mini brings the experience of the One in a smaller form factor for those that want a smaller device. The upcoming HTC One Max will be announced at IFA next week in Berlin, Germany. It is going to have a 5.9 inch screen and a built-in fingerprint scanner on the back for added security. All of these devices feature BoomSound with Beats Audio speakers and HTC’s UltraPixel cameras for excellent low-light photos. It looks like HTC has turned things around and is moving in the right direction.

What do you think, Sprint customers? Are you excited about the HTC One in blue? Do you plan on picking one up once it is available on September 10th? Let us know in the comments.
