The Galaxy Note III is a device that we’ve been hearing so much about that by now, it feels like we can just go out and buy it. Of course, that moment isn’t here yet, as the device is to be unveiled next month at the IFA conference in Berlin alongside the Galaxy Gear smartwatch. Meanwhile, leaks and rumors concerning the Note III have certainly gaine momentum and recently we saw parts of the Note III leak out. Parts that showed the front of the device off were snapped and it sparked fresh speculation that the device will be launching with a 5.68-inch display.
Over at SamMobile they’ve come across a shot of the display frames for both the Galaxy Note II and the Note III side-by-side and as you can see below, they look awfully similar:
With the Note III’s display frame on the right, we can see that it’s a little bit taller and there appears to be much less bezel. All of this could add up to a device that has a slightly larger display without physically growing too much in size. After all, many of you think the Note II is perfectly big enough. With devices like the Huawei Ascend Mate and the Xperia Z Ultra laughing at smaller devices, it’s good to see the Note III not grow in size for the sake of it.
There isn’t too much of a wait left to see just what the Note III has to offer us all but, so far we know quite a lot about the device. We know that the device is going to be shipping with a Snapdragon 800 in many parts of the world and an Exynos Octa chip in others. We now know that the device isn’t going to be too much larger than last year’s Note II which came in at 5.5-inches. Keeping the display size relatively the same could do wonders for the Note’s mainstream appeal. Last year saw the Note II go from a niche product to something that many smartphone users were lusting over. Can the Note III create the same sort of buzz?
