As we get closer and closer to Samsung’s Unpacked event next week, we’re hearing and seeing more rumors and leaks about the Galaxy Note 3, which is expected to be announced next Wednesday. The Chinese website ePricebelieves that Samsung will launch the Galaxy Note 3 on September 27th. With it being available for pre-order on September 16th. This will give Samsung only a couple of weeks to prepare for the huge worldwide rollout. We’re expecting the Galaxy Note 3 to launch just about everywhere in the month of September, which is going to be the biggest rollout ever.
We’re not quite sure where ePrice is getting their information, but we’re going to treat this as a rumor and use a grain of salt with it. While it does sound possible, it’s still unconfirmed. I doubt we’ll see anything about availability next week during the Unpacked event as well. But I’m hesitant to think that the Galaxy Note 3 will launch in the US by September 27th. Possibly on AT&T or T-Mobile, or possibly even Sprint. But we all know how Verizon is with launches, we’ll be lucky to see the Galaxy Note 3 hit Verizon before the end of the year.
What’s interesting is that on September 10th, Apple is announcing the new iPhone with it expected to go on sale on September 20th. Since we’ve seen that T-Mobile is doing blackout days for the 20th to the 22nd, which is what most carriers do for the weekend of an iPhone launch. Meaning no vacation time during those days and all hands on deck. Possibly, Samsung is looking to go head to head with Apple in September leading into the Holiday season? Seems very plausible. As Samsung has shown in the past that they aren’t afraid of Apple.
So Galaxy Note 3 announced on September 4th and launching on September 27th? Sounds good to me, what about the rest of you? Let us know in the comments down below.
