The Fall is often a good time to be a Samsung fan, as it’s traditionally the time of year a new Galaxy Note is unleashed unto the world. 2013 however, should be a little more fun for Samsung fans, and gadget fans in general, as the Galaxy Gear smartwatch is apparently launching this Fall as well. According to SamMobile, both the Galaxy Note III and the Galaxy Gear smartwatch will be released in September and October, respectively.
According to their source, the Galaxy Note III will be shipping in Week 36, which is of course September 2nd to September 9th. Shipping and launching a device are two different things but, knowing Samsung they’ll want to launch the Note III as soon as possible to make sure that their marketing machine has done all the work they need it to for the Holiday Season. Meanwhile, the Galaxy Gear smartwatch is said to be shipping Week 40, which is September 30th to October 6th. We’ve heard quite a bit about the Galaxy Gear recently and it looks like this could be a big launch for Samsung.
The Galaxy Note III is obviously one of the most anticipated devices for 2013 and rumors are coming thick and fast here, too. Recently we’ve heard which countries are going to get the Snapdragon 800 variant or the Exynos Octa variant. We’ve also seen a design patent for what could be the Note III and heard a lot more besides. There’s always going to be excitement surrounding the Galaxy Note line, now that it’s gone from a niche product to something that’s pretty mainstream.
