T-Mobile Posts (Updated) Support Page for the Moto X, Possibly Launching September?

So far T-Mobile hasn’t really confirmed whether they are actually carrying the Moto X or not. All we know is that Motorola will have a T-Mobile compatible Moto X for sale through their own channels. So most likely, full retail price, for those of us on T-Mobile that want the Moto X. But it is nice to see that T-Mobile has thrown together a Moto X support page. And yes, it’s been updated since yesterday, where they had a picture of the Galaxy S2.

Even T-Mobile’s own CEO, John Legere, teased on Twitter  over the weekend promoting T-Mobile’s JUMP! program. “Too bad @ATT doesn’t let you upgrade when you want. Who’s jumping to the #MyMotoX when it’s available on @TMobile in September? #JUMP!” Man that was a busy tweet. Not only did he promote JUMP! and the Moto X but he also took a stab at AT&T’s Next program which is their version of JUMP!. Nicely done sir.

Even though Legere said “available in September” that doesn’t quite mean that it’ll be available directly from T-Mobile in September. As we said earlier, Motorola will be selling the Moto X for T-Mobile through their own channels. So we’ll have to wait and see what happens. I’m going to keep my fingers crossed that the Moto X will be available on T-Mobile with the Simple Choice no-contract plans, instead of being full retail price. That would really help out Motorola in selling the Moto X. Especially if they can get Moto Maker soon for all carriers. But that’s a story for another time.

While the Moto X is a pretty subpar device as far as specs go, it’s still a pretty decent device. I’ve said this before and I’ll say it again. I don’t care too much for specs anymore, as long as my phone is nice and smooth. After handling some other devices that don’t have a Snapdragon 600 or 800 processor inside and they were smoother than those with the Snapdragon 600 or 800 inside, I’ve come to the realization that the experience is what matters now. Hopefully others will come around to that reasoning as well.
