Ah, ’tis the season to be shopping, and we have an app for that, boy do we apps for shopping; so it was hard to narrow it down to simply two choices, but we did. One app is geared more towards the age-old task of grocery shopping and the other app is more for shopping for individual items. There are so many retailers and so much merchandise, an app to help you sort everything out can save you a lot of time running around and help in making your shopping decisions.

Runner Up – Out of Milk Shopping List

The Out of Milk Shopping List – you have to love this app just because of the name!  At first it appears to be a simple, but colorful and complete, shopping list of food items, but as you explore the app you will find that it is so much more than just a means to list the items you need to buy.  There is a Local Grocery Deals button that you can push, and it will search for all of the local deals in your zip code.  You can create several lists, for instance, one for Trader Joes, one for Target and one for Wal-Mart, etc.  When you get to that particular store, your list will be ready for you to look at or share the list with someone else that might be picking up your groceries.

Winner – Wish – Shopping Made Fun

Wish – Shopping Made Fun, is a full-blown app for you shopping needs and pleasure.  It has over 81,000 reviews with a 4.7 out of 5.0 rating and has over 34,000 users that Google+’d the app, so we know it is well liked by its users, or I should say, shoppers.  The app received an upgrade on December 3 so the version you download will be the newest version available.  From searching to buying to order history, this app has you covered.  You can even setup notifications for birthdays and online help is available at all times.  You can shop for just about anything by going to Categories or Shops on the sidebar window.  There is a huge selection and the prices seem reasonable, in fact, most reviewers cited the savings and quality of the items most often.

There is even an option if you wish to sell an item by taking a picture, completing a description, and assigning it a price.  Then over 13 million buyers will see it in the Sale Parties area.  There you can buy anything from a used DVD to Toys and Games to Sunglasses.  Give it a try to see how this app can make shopping a little easier and a lot of fun.
