We know the Samsung Galaxy S5 is coming soon. In fact, it’ll probably be announced within the next 2-3 months. Rumors have it pegged as being announced at CES, but I highly doubt it since Samsung hasn’t announced a flagship at a show like that in a long time. They always do separate Unpacked events. So I’m figuring it’ll be either just before or just after Mobile World Congress which is the last week of February. We’ve already seen a few concepts and renders hit the web for both the Galaxy S5 and the HTC One. And here we are with another.
This concept was done by the GalaxyS5info.com website, and is basically “ripped from the Headlines” meaning it’s ripped from all the rumors and leaks we’ve seen pop up over the past month or so. It’s actually a really nice render. In fact it’s so nice, that I doubt Samsung would use it. However, Samsung is supposed to be showing off a brand new design language with the Galaxy S5 this year, so who knows.
We’re also expecting the Galaxy S5 to come with at least 3GB of RAM, it might get 4GB. Since we heard this morning that they announced their new LDDR4 RAM chip which supports 4GB of RAM. Which I still think is overkill for a phone, but then again, maybe they are putting just that much on the Galaxy S5 to need that much RAM. The Galaxy S5 should also be sporting a 64-bit processor, likely the Exynos 6 which will be unveiled at CES next week. Speaking of CES, you won’t want to miss our CES coverage starting this weekend! We’ll have our preview up later this week. So stay tuned for that.
What do you guys think of this render of the Galaxy S5? If this is the Galaxy S5, would you buy it?
