If you’re a twitter freak and you just happen to use Carbon as your main vessel for tweets, re-tweets, DM’s and Vine Videos, and virtually anything else that Twitter has to offer then it’s time to get excited because Carbon is being updated to Carbon 2 tomorrow. Along with the update comes a completely brand new UI design, as well as a new timeline design so things should be looking pretty snazzy when this rolls in. The apps developer M.Saleh Esmaeili mentions that we will also see the triumphant return of an old feature that is called quick timeline. There isn’t any detail on exactly what this will be like, but it’s an old feature from a past version of Carbon. Once this update drops tomorrow we’ll be sure to report on it and let you guys/girls know what it’s all about.
If you’re already using Carbon, than you’re already aware of the amazingly smooth functionality of the app that basically lets you glide through your feeds as though such a thing like lag never existed. The app currently sports a fairly minimalistic and clean design, so we can’t wait to see what the dev has planned to make the design even better. As M.Saleh states in his G+ post, all features of Carbon are “On-App” and not in the settings menu. He also brings it to our attention that we should expect a lot of goodies with this Carbon V2 update. And expect them we shall.
For those of you that are out there using the official Twitter application or some other app to access your feeds, you really need to give Carbon a try as it really is speedier and more polished looking than any other Twitter Client out there. A lot of you may have tried or are using Falcon Pro currently which is also a really good app, but it isn’t readily available to the public anymore. That being said Carbon is worth a look. I enjoyed Carbon even more than Falcon Pro in fact. There’s just something about the sleek color scheme that is pleasing to look at while you’re scrolling through the latest tweets. You can grab Carbon for Twitter for free on the Play Store now, and in doing so you’ll be all prepared to receive the update to V2 tomorrow when it hits.
