The Android Headlines Podcast #45 is Live! Come and Get It

The AH Show podcast is up and ready for you to enjoy. This week was really slow for news. The lull between CES and MWC has set in. There are some rumors and leaks coming out about things we’ll see at MWC, though. There’s also some news, like Google buying artificial intelligence start up DeepMind. Verizon and Vodafone have gotten approval from their shareholders to move forward with that buyout. Amazon may be looking to get into the gaming console fight with a forked Android gaming-box. Some new Sony devices popped up at the FCC with support for U.S. LTE networks. We still had plenty to talk about, don’t you worry.

• Verizon and Vodafone shareholders approve Verizon’s purchase of Vodafone’s share of the company.

• Amazon could be looking into forking Android for a gaming console.

• Samsung admits to the Note 3 issues with third-party accessories, promises a fix.

• Google is buying AI company DeepMind.

• Google could be ending the Nexus line in favor of GPe devices.

• New Sony attachable camera lenses turn your tablet into a high-end point and shoot.

• Two new Sony devices drop by the FCC.

• Samsung Galaxy Glass in the works. No surprise.

• Glass finally gets support for prescription lenses, straight from Google.

• HTC M8 could feature software buttons.

• Pebble Steel begins shipping today.

• LG opens their SDK for QSlide apps.

• Android 4.4.2 KitKat leaks for the AT&T Note 3 and GS4.
