This morning, HTC held their press conference at Mobile World Congress, as they typically do every year. They just announced the Desire 816 and the Desire 610. Both of which are quality mid-rangers. During their press conference, both HTC’s Chairwoman Cher Wang and their CEO Peter Chou were hyped for their March 25th event that’s taking place in New York City and London. The two referred to the HTC One as the world’s best smartphone. Wang told us that on March 25th, the best will be getting even better. Which pretty much confirms the HTC One 2014 coming next month at their special event.
So while HTC’s Chairwoman and CEO continue to hype beast their March 25th event, we’ll help them out. Although we’ve already been doing that. There have been plenty of leaks for the HTC One 2014 lately, including all of the press shots that have leaked out in the past couple of weeks. I’m personally hoping for some good stuff from HTC with their new flagship this year. I’d love to see HTC make a comeback, as I really like their build quality and even HTC Sense. But they’ve gotta market their smartphones and other devices. They can’t just put out the phone and not market it and expect it to sell.
March 25th, just can’t come soon enough. I’m definitely excited to see what HTC has planned for us this year with the new HTC One, how about the rest of you? We’ll definitely find out what’s up with the dual-cameras on the back. Hopefully it’s nothing to do with 3D. As we always do, we’ll be covering the HTC event on March 25th and have all the information available as soon as possible. Hopefully HTC can get the One on all four carriers within a month of launch instead of Verizon taking 6 months to launch their variant.
