AT&T Delivers List of ASUS Padfone X Specifications

Here’s some good news if you’ve been waiting for the ASUS Padfone X to hit AT&T: the carrier has released a rather long list of specifications for the dual phone/tablet. The bad news? There still isn’t any release date in sight, so while we now know what exactly our money will be buying, we’re still not sure of when we’re going to get the chance to spend that money. With that in mind, a specifications list is always appreciated, so let’s have a look and see what’s under the hood.

AT&T has shared specifications for both the 5-inch Padfone and the 9-inch Padfone Station. For those who aren’t in the know, the Padfone Station is a dock that also serves as a tablet when the phone is connected. The tablet comes equipped with a relatively beefy battery that can charge the phone while it’s docked, so Padfone X users will probably suffer from dead devices less frequently than those who opted for a more conventional smartphone.

Looking at the specifications list, we can see that the Padfone X will utilize a 2.3GHz quad-core processor along with 2GB of RAM. Both the Padfone and the Station offer 1080p resolution, which means users will enjoy higher PPI on the phone. While the Padfone uses a respectable 2,300mAh battery, the Station can boast a 4,990mAh pack. That’s a lot of juice between the two devices, and we’d be hard pressed to find someone who says more battery power is a bad thing. Take a look at the full list at the source link below.

This is certainly enough to get Padfone enthusiasts fired up, but there’s still the issue of the missing release date to resolve. Hopefully this list and the Padfone X’s recent trip to the FCC mean that an announcement is coming sooner rather than later, so be sure to keep it here at Android Headlines for more information.
