Smartphones are driven by the innovations they bring to the table. Those innovations are how we are able to judge the popularity of each device at first. Though those innovations keep coming, it would seem that OEM’s have widened their scope of innovative products to include accessories more so than ever before. Samsung had an entire line of accessories from cases to smart watches with the release of their 2014 flagship device the Galaxy S5. HTC had the Dot View Case with the release of their flagship the HTC One M8. Next up is LG with the release of their new device the LG G3, and so far we have seen their circle view case. However LG has another accessory up their sleeve-a wireless charger.
Wireless chargers are not something new, and innovation here is somewhat limited. However, LG has found a way to build a wireless charger that is not only a wireless charger, but a stand as well. This means that the LG G3 can be charged wirelessly while standing vertically opposed to laying flat on its back or horizontally. Thanks to WebTrek and a Korean site, we have images of the wireless charger that will be available for the LG G3. As you can see in the photos below, using your device will be easier while charging. Not to mention the minimalistic look may be appreciated by many. It is a simple wireless charger, that stands your device upright and doesn’t try to be anything more. This new accessory is a great addition to the Quick Cover Circle case that will also be available from LG.

Save for the black and white options. The case will also come in a pastel pink, and pastel blue as well as a gold option. The LG G3 is due to launch on May 27th, surely that is when we will be hearing more official news on the available accessories. If not, very soon after. With so many accessories making it to the main stage with the launch of their accompanying devices, it is getting difficult to decide.
