Just yesterday, AT&T announced that pre-orders for the LG G3 would start today, July 8th. And it would be available in stores on July 11th. The LG G Watch is being sold along side the LG G3 as well. AT&T also has a nice promotion going on for the LG G Watch. Where if you buy the LG G3 and the LG G Watch together, the LG G Watch will be 50% off, coming in at around $115. Which is a pretty good deal if you ask me. If I were on AT&T and looking to pick up the LG G3, I’d definitely pick up the LG G Watch as well. However, this appears to be only if you buy the LG G3 on a new two-year contract and not on AT&T Next.
As far as pricing goes, the LG G3 is going to cost you $199 on contract, or $24.17 per month on AT&T Next 18 and $29 per month on AT&T Next 12. Which is still a pretty decent price, considering the specs and size of this device. The LG G3 features a 5.5-inch 2560×1440 resolution IPS display, Qualcomm Snapdragon 801 chipset, 3GB of RAM, 32GB of storage, with a microSD card slot, a 13MP camera with laser auto-focus, and a 2.1MP front-facing camera. We’ve also got a 3000mAh removable battery and it’s running on Android 4.4 KitKat. Not bad for $199 right?
We reviewed the LG G3 a few weeks ago – albeit the Korean version – and we were quite impressed with how well it performed, especially given the amount of pixels it’s pushing for each task. Battery life on the LG G3 was good, just not great. Especially when compared to the LG G2, it’s predecessor. Which had pretty amazing battery life. How many of you out there are planning on picking up the LG G3 or the LG G Watch? Let us know in the comments below.
