Meizu MX4 Images, OS and Benchmarks Score Leak Ahead Of September 2nd Event

Meizu scheduled a press event for September 2nd just recently. They are expected to launch their new Meizu MX devices there along with the Flyme 4.0 OS. MX4 is the most expected / leaked of the bunch and will definitely make an appearance there along with the aforementioned Flyme OS. MX4 Pro has also been leaked though and MX3S mentioned in an earlier rumors.

New leak delivers fresh Meizu MX4 images in addition to the one which leaked a few days ago as well as what appears to be a benchmarks score on the device. These are not exactly the best images around, but they clearly show what seems to be Meizu MX4 running the upcoming Flyme 4.0 OS. Meizu MX4 (the base model) is expected to sport Samsung’s Exynos 5430 CPU along with 3GB of RAM and a 5-inch 1080p (1920 x 1080) display. 20.7-megapixel camera sporting Sony’s sensor is expected to be the device’s main camera while an 8-megapixel shooter will allegedly make an appearance on the front of the device. Rumored price is 2499 Yuan which is approximately $406 post conversion. The other leaked device is a bigger version of Meizu MX4, dubbed MX4 Pro. Amount of RAM and cameras are expected to be the same in both of these models, though MX4 Pro is allegedly going to have a larger 5.5-inch panel on the front and a different processor, Exynos 5433.

Take all of this with a grain of salt though, these are all just rumors after all. Though we’ve seen so many similar rumors that these specifications might actually be legit. The device(s) actually look rather nice, those slim side bezels seem even thinner than the ones on the LG G3 and the design in general seems alright, nothing wrong with it, based on the images of course. We don’t have much news on Flyme 4.0 at this point, only what you can pick up from the screens. Lots of colors and a flat design is expected though and these images kind of suggest that. The launch is close though I don’t doubt we’ll see more rumors until then, stay tuned.
