LG G3 To Launch On U.S. Cellular In October Starting From $0 Down

There have been a lot of big devices by the big companies this year, but one in particular which has seemed to grab consumer’s attention is LG’s G3 smartphone. This is simply one of the best phones available at the moment and packing an enormous punch in terms of specs. The G3 offers a 5.5″ QHD display with a 2560 x 1440 resolution. Inside the device is packed with the now flagship standard Qualcomm Snapdragon 801 quad-core processor (clocks at 2.5GHz) and 2GB RAM on the 16GB version and 3GB RAM on the 32GB version. In terms of cameras the LG offers a 13 MP rear camera with its Laser Auto focus. In addition, the front camera offers a more modest 2.1MP shooter. The LG comes running on Android 4.4.2 (KitKat) and is powered by a respectable 3,000 mAh battery.

Since its initial release the LG has sold well becoming the first LG smartphone to sell 10 million units. In terms of the US, back in July all the big four carriers (Verizon, AT&T, Sprint and T-Mobile) began pre-orders and shipping. If for whatever reason you have not picked up the G3 yet you might be happy to learn that U.S. Cellular has announced they will be stocking the device. According to the announcement the LG will arrive on U.S. Cellular sometime in October. Details on specific pricing and plans were not announced in the press release although it was noted that the G3 would be available for as little as $0 down via their Shared Connect program. This plan will offer users the device for free at the point-of-sale (have to pay tax of course) and then customers will pay 24 equal monthly payments for the device. Of course, this monthly payment will be on top of whichever plan you choose to go for. The announcement also advises customers on this plan will be able to upgrade in as little as 12 months. Further adding that alternatively customers will be able to pay-off the balance they owe anytime they like.

So how does the LG G3 on U.S. Cellular sound? Anyone interested in this? Anyone already using the G3? How do you like it? As good as everyone says? Let us know what you think by leaving a comment.
