Oppo N3 got announced yesterday alongside the thinnest phone in the world, Oppo R5. Oppo held a press conference in Singapore and announced these two beasts alongside a slew of accessories for each of them. The main feature of Oppo N3 is that motorized rotating camera which moves automatically when you’re taking images while Oppo R5 is an extremely thin device with more than solid specifications. If you take a look at the gallery below you’ll see Oppo’s newest flagship photographed from basically every possible angle in order to give you a better idea of how this device looks. Oppo N3 is featuring a 5.5-inch 1080p (1920 x 1080) AMOLED display along with 3GB of RAM and 32GB of expandable internal storage. This handset is powered by Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 801 quad-core processor clocked at 2.3GHz along with an Adreno 330 GPU for graphics processing. This handset comes with the aforementioned motorized rotation camera on the top of the device which sports a 16-megapixel sensor on the inside. Oppo N3 ships with a 3000mAh battery which charges from 0 to 75% in 30 minutes thanks to VOOC rapid charging technology. Android 4.4 comes pre-installed on the device with Oppo’s ColorOS 2.0 on top of it.
The images down below give you a good look at the design of this device. You can clearly see the huge camera on the top as well as the fingerprint sensor which is located at the back of the device. Oppo N3 also features a steel frame, its all around build is quite sturdy and should serve you just fine. N3 is nowhere as thin as the R5 though, which is a good thing in my humble opinion. N3 is 9.9mm thick and it weighs 192, which is not too much but still enough, so you don’t have to worry about breaking in by accident or anything of the sort. Some might even say N3 is too thick, I would agree with that, but considering how thin phones are today… anyhow, Oppo N3 will cost around 3999 Yuan ($653) once it launches, which is not exactly all that affordable. We’ll have to wait and see how will it sell, I’m rather sceptical though.
