We had heard that there might be a delay in the UK for the Google Nexus 6. And now we know when it’ll be available for pre-orders and when it’ll be shipping, supposedly. We’re looking at a November 18th pre-order date. Which is about 2 weeks from today. With orders shipping out on December 1st. That’s not that far behind the US, compared to other companies. We still don’t have concrete dates for the US just yet, but we should be seeing some orders shipping on November 12th with the carriers beginning their availability on the 12th.
Both the Google Play Store and Mobiles.co.uk will be beginning Pre-Orders on November 18th. It’ll start at £28/month on O2, with unlimited calling, texts, and 1GB of LTE data for Mobiles.co.uk, and obviously Google Play will be selling the Nexus 6 SIM free. Both stores will have the Nexus 6 in blue and white. We have the White version here and have been putting it through it’s paces lately, we’ll have our review up in due time though.
The Nexus 6 features a 6-inch Quad HD display, Qualcomm Snapdragon 805 processor, 3GB of RAM, 32GB or 64GB of storage, 3220mAh battery and a 13MP camera on the back. It’s simply a beast. And it’s also running on Android 5.0 Lollipop, which we’ll also have that review coming out pretty soon. So you’ll want to stay tuned for that.
It’s nice to see the Nexus 6 coming to the UK, it’s just too bad that it’ll be delayed a bit for some reason. But at least it’s getting over there, and it’s not another “US Only” type thing. Which is going to be nice for our British friends over there. How many of you are planning on ordering the Nexus 6? Let us know in the comments down below.
