Huawei P8 Leaks Yet Again, Shows Off Its Speaker Grills And A Charging Port

Huawei P8 has been leaking like crazy over the last couple of months. We’ve seen a ton of leaks and official teasers by the company. This Chinese smartphone manufacturer has already sent out invitations for their April 15th event in London, where the company will announce the P8. This will be Huawei’s new flagship handset, and according to various leaks it will sport premium build and quite powerful specifications. Anyhow, the device leaked yet again today. This time around, we get to see the bottom part of the Huawei P8. As you can see in the provided image, the P8’s layout offers a microUSB charging port down there which is flanked by a couple of screws and what seems to be two speaker grills.

This handset will succeed the Ascend P7 which launched back in May last year. According to various rumors, the P8 will feature a 5.2-inch 1080p (1920 x 1080) display along with 3GB of RAM and will ship with a 2,600mAh battery on the inside. Huawei’s very own HiSilicon Kirin 930 octa-core processor will quite probably power on this thing, and you can also expect a 13-megapixel camera (possibly a dual camera setup similar to the one on the Honor 6 Plus) to be available on the back of this handset. Android 5.0 Lollipop will come pre-installed here, with the company’s custom Emotion UI skin on top of Google’s operating system. Several rumors have stated that Huawei will use ceramic as the build material here in combination with the metal frame.

This handset will be one of the first Huawei-branded devices that won’t carry the “Ascend” branding, at least that’s what the rumors are saying. Huawei decided to ditch the “Ascend” branding and this handset will quite probably be called simply the Huawei P8, as many other handsets the company will release in the future. There you have it folks, we’re probably going to see more leaks by the time Huawei launches this device, so stay tuned for that. Huawei has huge expectations for this year, and we’ll see if they’ll manage to meet the expectations.
