LG won’t announce their eagerly-awaited G4 flagship at MWC in Barcelona this year, but the company has announced two new mid-rangers though, along with two low-end devices. We’ve covered the announcement of these handsets, and we’ll take a closer look at the two mid-range ones in this article, the LG Magna and LG Spirit. We managed to get some hands-on time with both of these devices at LG’s event in Barcelona, and there are a bunch of images for you to take a look at in the gallery down below which should give you a pretty good idea of how these devices look. The design of these handsets isn’t flashy by any means, it’s quite understated actually, industrial even. The LG Magna is the bigger of the two, it sports a 5-inch 720p (1280 x 720, 294ppi) display, along with 1GB of RAM and 8GB of internal storage. The 4G variant of this device is powered by a 1.3GHz quad-core processor, and a 3G model will ship with a 1.2GHz quad-core SoC.. 8-megapixel camera is located on the back of this handset, and a 5-megapixel shooter is available up front. Android 5.0 Lollipop comes pre-installed here with LG’s custom UI on top of it, of course. The LG Magna measures 139.7 x 69.9 x 10.2mm and ships with a 2,540mAh battery.
The LG Spirit, on the other hand, features a 4.7-inch 72op (1280 x 720, 312ppi) display, 1GB of RAM and 8GB of internal storage. This handset is also powered by a 1.2GHz quad-core processor in its 3G version, and 1.3GHz quad-core chip powers on the 4G variant of the device. This handset will also ship with Android 5.0 Lollipop with LG’s UI on top of it. A removable 2,100mAh battery comes with this device, and 1-megapixel front-facing camera is located on both versions of this handset. The 8-megapixel camera will be available at the back of the LTE variant, and a 5-megapixel snapper on the back of the 3G variant of LG Spirit. This handset measures 133.3 x 66.1 x 9.9mm.
