Over the course of the last week there has been some interesting and big news in the world of Android and tech, and for anyone that may have missed some of the details during the week we have some of the biggest stuff highlighted for you here. More users who own a Sony Xperia Z3 in certain regions started getting Lollipop on their devices, and it seems the global roll out has finally begun. While it is exciting top see Lollipop on another existing flagship device, we may have learned some details this week about LG’s upcoming flagship, the LG G4, in regards to the size and resolution of the screen to be used on the device, which may be a 5.5-inch QHD display. LG also outed the date of their next flagship event when they should be unveiling the LG G4 to the world, which happens to be April 28th.
Also this week, Motorola announced that their first generation Moto X, Moto G and Moto E devices are jumping straight to Android 5.1 Lollipop and skipping Android 5.0, and Google made Android apps more openly compatible with Chrome OS by opening the App Runtime to all developers. In the midst of all the April Fool’s Day pranks, OnePlus unveiled a very real product called the OnePlus DR-1 Mini-Drone, and Amazon opened up compatibility of their Prime Instant Video app to Android tablets.
