Snapseed gets updated
This week, one of our favorite photo-editing apps, Snapseed say a pretty nice update. In this update it gets refined brush functionality as well as more language support. Languages that were added in this update include Catalan, Greek, British English, Finish, Hindi, Croatian, Hungarian, Malay, Norwegian, Portugese, Romanian, Slovak, Ukrainian, Spanish, and Vietnamese.
Mobile Passport App launches on Google Play
If you’ve ever traveled internationally, you know how slow the lines for passport control and customs can be. Now there’s an app to help you skip the lines at San Francisco’s airport. Use the app to enter all your information, as well as your trip information. Then follow the signs for “Mobile Passport Control”, and you’re all set. This is currently available at Atlanta, Miami, Chicago O’hare, Seattle and San Francisco’s airports.
Skype updates to v5.6 on Android
This week, Skype announced and started rolling out version 5.6 of its Android app. In the new update, you can see more chats at a glance. So with a quick glance you can quickly catch up on what’s going on with your contacts. You can also now see if your friends are online or offline with the new round avatars. Last but not least, you can see messages more clearly.
Google Keep Updates
Google updated their note-taking app this week, with the removal of the floating action button. Instead there is a new bar at the bottom that has all the buttons you would see in the floating action button. It still looks very material-y and works just fine.
Talon for Twitter updated to v3.0
This week, one of the more popular Twitter apps got updated. That’d be Talon, who say an update to version 3.0. While it’s a milestone version, the changelog didn’t forget that. The changelog is quite long with new features and improvements. Some of the major improvements include a new profile layout, as well as font options and much more. Meerkat gets Livestreaming from GoPro
Ever wanted to live stream to Meerkat from your GoPro camera? Well now you can. Earlier this week, the two companies announced the update. GoPro also stated that they are working on a video editing app that will be coming out later this summer, so GoPro users can also look forward to that. Seeing as Meerkat has live-streaming capabilities with GoPro, how much longer before Periscope gets it?
