Featured: Top 10 Best Android Games – July 2015

With July nearly over, it’s time to put together a list of the top best games to launch this month. There were quite a few new games which released over the last few weeks so it was hard to dismiss a few, but we’ve narrowed it down to what we feel are the best new games which players will find enjoyable.

Yurei Ninja

This is an endless runner, so nothing spectacularly special about that point, but the interesting Ninja theme with the stylish artwork visuals and the fun elements of the boosts and attacks you use during the game makes it quite fun and worthy of a spot.

Warhammer 40K: Space Wolf

Like many games in the Warhammer series, there’s a bit of role playing involved here but you’ll also be engaging in strategic battles with tactical team-based combat and attacks. Combat is also card driven and you’ll be able to collect various cards throughout the game to add to your arsenal. If single player campaigns aren’t as much your thing, there’s some PvP gameplay too.

Siegecraft Defender Zero

This is a free ad-supported version of Crescent Moon’s popular Tower Defense game. With pretty visuals and tons of strategic gameplay and classical tower defense style elements, it’ll be hard for anyone who enjoys fun not to love this title.

8infinity

If you like arcade games, 8 infinity is as interesting as it is addictive. You’ll likely spend countless hours trying to go as far as you can while you attempt to navigate the little silver ball around the 8 symbols. Once you reach a certain number of pass throughs you’ll have to hit the correct color coded button to move the ball left or right to keep going. Hit the wrong button and you start over. It’s simple to learn but gets more challenging than you think.

Dragon Ball Z Dokkan Battle

Gameplay is a mix of board game type movements and story driven cinematics almost like comic story boards. Each quest you take on will start you off with the option of moving a certain number of spaces on the board. Some board spots will house battles and others will carry either currency or experience and boosts or items. Landing on these places allows you to either gain stuff or engage in battle. Battles have you selecting different colored ki orbs to place your attacks against your foes, and after each set of attacks you’ll get to watch the battle unfold. It’s pretty neat if you’re a Dragon Ball Z fan.

Wakfu Raiders

Wakfu Raiders is a mobile adapted game based on the popular PC role playing version, although gameplay is quite different. It’s a mix of role playing and tactical combat with auto basic attacks for your characters while you control team combos and ultimate abilities which you’ll want to strategically unleash at the right moments. You can play and collect multiple characters all which you can evolve into more powerful versions, and expect plenty of other role playing based elements like PvP, gear and loot, and more content to be added in future updates.

Alpha Bear

Alpha Bear is a unique puzzle game that tasks you with solving for words. You’ll have to select the different letters placed on a grid and when you spell words out using letters which sit next to one another you’ll make bears appear, which you can grow bigger and bigger by using more letters. This also causes your score to increase. The game rewards you with higher scores and bears which you can keep and collect, and can also be used in future games. It’s an interesting take, but one which is sure to delight plenty of gamers looking for casual fun.

Mountain Goat Mountain

This is the latest arcade game from Zynga which requires you to jump up various mountains. The gameplay is fairly simple but it’s mastering the art of mountain climbing (as a goat) which will prove challenging. You can unlock loads of fun different goats and there are tons of different mountain types and levels to complete, obstacles to dodge if you’re to make it to the top, and coins to collect along the way.

REDDEN

REDDEN is for those looking to pick up a fun yet very original game title. The main goal of REDDEN is to make it to your target as one of the various tools in a junk shop including an arrow, a bullet, a shuriken etc. As you try to make your way through the levels to your target you’ll have obstacles to avoid and random individuals which you can kill along the way. These kills help rack up your point score. Everything is woven together in a very cinematic and artsy sort of way with cutscenes which only helps to make it more fun and engaging.

This War Of Mine

If you like strategy and survival, This War of Mine is for you. If you absolutely despise making harsh decisions which could mean life or death, you might find the game difficult to play. Nevertheless, it’s abrasive take on what life is like during the war for those who aren’t soldiers paired with the tough decisions and survival aspects makes it a complex and enjoyable time. It’s well worth checking out.
