Our favorite leaker, @evleaks is back with another leak. This time regarding the Galaxy Note 5 which we are expecting to be announced on August 13th in New York City at their next Unpacked event, which we will be attending as usual. The codename is the Samsung Noble, with the model number SM-N920. Which many of us are thinking it’s the Galaxy Note 5. Specs are said to be a 5.66-inch QHD display, obviously it’ll be a Super AMOLED display. It’s running on the Exynos 7420 processor, that’s the same processor as the Galaxy S6 and Galaxy S6 Edge that were announced earlier this year. The leaks also point to 4GB of RAM inside and a 16MP camera on the back with a 5MP front-facing camera for selfies. It looks like we’re getting 32GB of internal storage here. It’s likely that we will see 64GB and 128GB models as well. Seeing as we’re seeing reports that there are no microSD card expansion on the Galaxy Note 5 or the Galaxy S6 Edge+.
We still have about 12 days before we know all the official specs of the Galaxy Note 5 as well as all the features that Samsung is baking into this device. We will be there in NYC at the Unpacked event on August 13th to find out all of the details on the Galaxy Note 5 and the Galaxy S6 Edge+. So make sure you stay tuned to Android Headlines for all the details on the new devices from Samsung.
These specs aren’t really all that surprising when you think about it. Basically the same size display and the specs match up to the other flagships coming out this fall. Although the surprising part here is the Exynos 7420. We had heard many rumors of Samsung using the Exynos 7422. It’ll also be the first time that Samsung’s two yearly flagships use the same processor. We could also still see Samsung going with a Qualcomm processor (likely the Snapdragon 820 if available) for the US markets and other LTE markets. With Exynos being in the 3G markets. As we’ve seen in the past.
