The Quattro L50 is Karbonn’s newest mid-range offering. This smartphone sports a 5-inch 720p IPS display, 2GB of RAM and 16GB of expandable internal storage. The device is fueled by the quad-core SoC running at 1.3GHz, and a 2,600mAh battery is also a part of this package. The 13-megapixel shooter (f/2.0) is placed on the back of this phone, and a 5-megapixel shooter is available up front. Android 5.1 Lollipop comes out of the box here, and the device comes in Blue, Grey, and Coffee color options, while it costs Rs. 7,990 ($118) at Amazon India.

The Ivvi i Plus is Coolpad’s latest handset. This smartphone has been announced in China recently, and it sports a rather interesting set of specs. It’s not that often that we see Snapdragon 410 paired with 3GB of RAM, but that’s the case here. The phone also sport a 5-inch HD display, and 32GB of internal storage. The phone is priced at 1,999 Yuan ($304) in China, and it supports Chinese LTE bands.

YouTube is quite probably the most popular video sharing site on the internet. Tons of users use this service, but YouTube is still blocked in some countries. Pakistan, Nepal and Sri Lanka were amongst those countries, but that’s not the case anymore because YouTube launched a local version of the site in those countries. This basically means that local authorities can ask Google to remove content from the service if needed.

HTC Has Sold Over 2 Million Handsets In Taiwan Last Year

HTC is not doing all that well as far as sales are concerned (globally), but it seems like they’re doing well in their homeland, Taiwan. The company has shipped over 2 million devices in Taiwan, which is a 20% increase compared to 2014. The president of HTC North Asia also confirmed that HTC will continue releasing dual-flagship models in 2016. The company’s new flagship is expected to arrive in March, and it will be interesting to see what HTC has to offer us this year.

ZTE Unveils Blade Plus V In Australia, Priced At $399

The ZTE Blade Plus V has been introduced in Australia, and will be available from JB HIFI stores and online for $399. This handset sports a 5.5-inch 1080p display, 2GB of RAM and 16GB of expandable internal storage. MediaTek’s MT6753 64-bit octa-core processor fuels this smartphone, and a 3,000mAh battery is available on the inside. Android 5.1 Lollipop comes pre-installed here, and we’re looking at a dual-SIM handset, which measures 155.3 x 77.2 x 8.55, while it weighs 164 grams.
