Lots has happened in the past week in the world of Android, and just in case you missed any of this past weel’s top stories, we have them listed for you here. The biggest news a couple of weeks ago was the announcement of Android N and the developer preview which Google launched alongside the announcement. There is still not much known about the name though except for a few potential rumors, one of which could be New York Cheesecake as it was rumored this past week that Google is using this name for the software version internally.
While the name for Android N would certainly be an interesting piece of information to learn, perhaps the biggest piece of news this past week revolves around Android Wear, as there were multiple new watches announced from various companies. Fossil announced two new Android Wear watches for the year including the Q Wander and the Q Marshal. They weren’t the only brand to unveil devices though, as Nixon revealed their first ever Android Wear watch, as did Micahel Kors with their first ever Android Wear watches. While Casio’s Android Wear watch may not have been a new announcement this past week, they did unveil the launch date which appears to be March 25th, and just six days later the public will officially see the global launch of LG’s next flagship device, the LG G5, as it’s been confirmed to launch on March 31st.
