Nubia To Release Four Nubia X8 Variants, Specs Leak

Nubia is ZTE’s subsidiary. This company has introduced a couple of really compelling devices last year, including the Nubia Z9 line. The Nubia Z9 was the most powerful Nubia smartphone released last year, and it was also the most interesting one. That device sports no bezel on the sides, and is made out of metal, not to mention it sports a side-facing fingerprint scanner, and some unique software features. The other two Nubia Z9 handsets are called Nubia Z9 Mini and Nubia Z9 Max. That being said, the company has introduced the Nubia Z11 Mini quite recently, the Nubia Z11 and Z11 Max are expected to arrive next month, and it seems like Nubia is preparing to introduce some additional hardware soon, read on.

The Nubia X8 and X8 Mini have been certified by TENAA (China’s equivalent to the FCC) earlier this month, and some additional details have leaked in China quite recently. According to the latest available info coming from Weibo, the Nubia X8 will actually launch in four different variants, the Nubia X8 Lifestyle, X8 Standard, X8 High and X8 PPT. Keep in mind that this is a rough translation from the Chinese language, so the names might be somewhat different once the company releases these devices. Anyhow, the Nubia X8 Lifestyle will be the least powerful out of the bunch, it will be fueled by the Snapdragon 650 64-bit octa-core SoC, and will ship with 3GB of RAM and 16GB of internal storage. This handset will sport a 6.4-inch fullHD (1920 x 1080) display, and provide great battery life it seems.

The Nubia X8 Standard will be fueled by the Snapdragon 820 quad-core SoC, and will come with 3GB of RAM and 32GB of native storage. The 6.4-inch 1080p (1920 x 1080) display will be included here as well. Now, the Nubia X8 High variant will be almost identical to the ‘Standard’ model, but will include more RAM (4GB) and storage (64GB), while its display will sport higher resolution as well (QHD). Now, the last, but not least, the PPT version. This will be the highest-end variant it seems, it will be fueled by the Snapdragon 823 processor which hasn’t been officially announced just yet, and 6GB of RAM will also be included on the inside. The rest of its specs will be identical to the Nubia X8 High it seems, unless Nubia decides to include 128GB of internal storage here, which might happen. We still don’t know when will the company introduce these devices, but stay tuned.
