Nubia X8 Promo Images And Device Info Leaks

As most of you know by now, Nubia is ZTE’s subsidiary. This company has released a number of interesting smartphones thus far, including the bezel-less Nubia Z9 handset which was introduced last year. The Nubia Z9 was announced alongside the Nubia Z9 Mini and Nubia Z9 Max back in May 2015. That being said, Nubia has already introduced the Nubia Z11 Mini, and the Nubia Z11 and Z11 Max are expected to arrive next month. Before that happens, however, the company might introduce a couple of new devices, read on.

The Nubia X8 and X8 Mini were certified by TENAA (China’s equivalent to the FCC) earlier this month, and earlier today Nubia X8 specifications surfaced. Interesting enough, it seems like Nubia plans to introduce four variations of Nubia X8, the Nubia X8 Lifestyle, Standard, High and the premium PPT version. Well, this new leak claims there will be only three variants of the device, and some additional info surfaced as well. It seems like the Nubia X8 promo images have appeared, if you take a look at the gallery down below, you’ll be able to see quite a few images of the company’s upcoming handset. Now, the source claims there will be three variants of the Nubia X8, unlike the rumor we’ve talked about earlier today. The base model of the device (presumably called ‘Lifestyle’) will feature a 6.44-inch fullHD (1920 x 1080) display, 3GB of RAM, 32GB of internal storage and will be fueled by the Snapdragon 820 SoC. The higher-end model’s display will be the same size, but the resolution will be higher, it will ship with a QHD (2560 x 1440) panel. This model will also come with 4GB of RAM and 64GB of internal storage. The highest-end model will, allegedly, ship with a 4K display, 6GB of RAM, 128GB / 256GB of internal storage and will be fueled by the Snapdragon 823 SoC which hasn’t been announced yet.

As you can see, this info is a bit different than what we’ve seen leaked earlier today. Now, in addition to all this, it is worth mentioning that the Nubia X8 will be made out of metal, and probably sport a 16-megapixel OIS snapper on the back. We still don’t know which version of Android will this phone ship with, but you can expect ZTE’s Nubia UI to be available on top of it. That is pretty much it, these devices are expected to arrive soon, so stay tuned.
