Galaxy Note 6 Specs Surface Again, SD823 & 6GB Of RAM In Tow

Samsung has introduced their new flagship smartphones for 2016 back in February, but as you all know, they still have to announce their flagship phablet for this year. The Galaxy Note 5 has been introduced in August last year, and chances are its successor, the Galaxy Note 6, will arrive in August this year, even though nothing has been confirmed just yet. We’ve already seen a number of rumors regarding the Galaxy Note 6, some of which reported that the device might sport 6GB of RAM and 128GB of internal storage.

That being said, a new rumor surfaced in China today, and it shares some more Galaxy Note 6 spec info, while it kind of differentiates from earlier rumors. According to this info, the Galaxy Note 6 will sport a 5.77-inch QHD (2560 x 1440) display, and will be fueled by the Snapdragon 823 64-bit quad-core SoC, which is essentially an upgraded version of the Snapdragon 820. The Exynos 8890-powered version will probably also going to be available, and its availability will vary depending on where you live, so keep that in mind. The phablet is also expected to sport 6GB of RAM and 256GB of internal storage, according to the newly leaked info. The 4,200mAh battery has also been mentioned, and we still don’t know if it will sport expandable storage or not. The phone is also expected to be made out of metal, and will ship with IP68 certification for water and dust resistance.

Now, this new rumor differentiates from earlier ones in internal storage count, and battery size. Previous rumors claimed that the device will ship in 128GB storage flavor, and that it will sport a 4,000mAh battery, the new rumor is either wrong, or very precise, we won’t know for sure until Samsung announces the device in a couple of months. The Galaxy Note 6 will almost certainly going to resemble its predecessor and the Galaxy S7 devices, and there are even rumors of a Galaxy Note 6 variant which will sport a curved display, similar to the Galaxy S7 Edge. As the announcement comes closer, we’ll see more and more Galaxy Note 6 rumors / leaks, so stay tuned for that, as always.
