ZTE is one of the major players in China. This is one of the largest tech companies in Asia, and their AXON-branded smartphones are quite popular all over the world. ZTE had introduced quite a few of AXON devices last year, and they were quite refreshing in terms of the design. That being said, the company had introduced their new 2016 flagship AXON smartphone back in May, and it’s called the ZTE AXON 7.
Now, ZTE did release some availability info at launch, revealing in which countries will this handset going to become available (eventually), and Europe was one of those countries. The device, however, did not become available straight away, but those of you who are interested in getting this smartphone will be glad to know that the phone is now available in a number of countries in Europe. ZTE has announced that the AXON 7 will be available for pre-order via Amazon starting today in France, Germany, Italy, Spain and the UK. ZTE’s new flagship is priced at €449 in the aforementioned countries, and the device will also be available online on GrosBill and offline at Media Markt and Phone House in the coming months. “ZTE is excited to celebrate the debut of AXON 7 in Europe, and today marks the global roll-out of our latest flagship smartphone. With AXON 7’s unbeatable combination of an eye-catching design, top-of-the-line specs and an affordable price, we’re positive about demand for AXON 7 in Europe,” said Jacky Zhang, CEO of EMEA and APAC at ZTE Mobile Devices.
ZTE had introduced both the 4GB and 6GB RAM variants of this smartphone last month, and only the 4GB RAM model is becoming available in Europe today. The ZTE AXON 7 features a 5.5-inch QHD (2560 x 1440) display, 4GB of RAM and 64GB of expandable internal storage. Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 820 64-bit quad-core processor fuels this smartphone, along with the Adreno 530 GPU. The 20-megapixel Dual IS (OIS + EIS) camera is placed on the back of the AXON 7, and an 8-megapixel snapper can be found up front. The 3,250mAh battery is also a part of this package, and you also get Quick Charge 3.0 fast charging here.
