The Consumer Electronics Show (CES) is right around the corner, as it kicks off in less than a week, and it seems like we’ll be getting tons of great tech during the tradeshow. Many companies have already confirmed that they’ll present their tech products in Las Vegas, and it seems like we’ll be getting tons of affordable smartphones during this year’s CES. Speaking of which, let’s see what to expect when it comes to budget devices, shall we.
So, LG had already confirmed that they’ll be launching the LG K3 Key, LG K4 Key, LG K8 Key, LG K10 Key and the LG Stylus 3 Key during the tradeshow, all of which are entry-level smartphones, except the LG Stylus 3 Key which can be considered to be a mid-range smartphone. The LG Stylus 3 Key will ship with a stylus pen, as its name says, and this will be a phablet offering by the company. Now, in addition to LG, Samsung is also expected to present some of the company’s more affordable devices, to be more specific, we’re expecting new variants of the Galaxy A3, Galaxy A5 and Galaxy A7 to launch during the tradeshow. All of Samsung’s upcoming ‘Galaxy A’ devices are expected to ship with Super AMOLED displays, and also sport fingerprint scanners, while they’ll be compatible with Samsung Pay as well. Xiaomi is also expected to introduce some new hardware, we’re actually expecting the company to introduce quite a few devices during the Consumer Electronics Show, mainly because their recent video teaser suggested that will happen, and it’s quite obvious Xiaomi is aiming to spread their wings, and tackle a number of markets outside of Asia. Xiaomi is expected to (re-)announce a number of smart gadgets, but they could intro some smartphones as well, the Xiaomi Mi S has been leaking out for quite some time now, this is the company’s alleged smartphone which is expected to sport a 4.6-inch HD display, and it could launch during the Consumer Electronics Show.
In addition to everything we’ve mentioned, we’re also expecting ASUS to intro ZenFone AR compatible with Google Tango, while TCL and BlackBerry will probably announce the BlackBerry DTEK70 as well. So, as you can see, there’s plenty to look forward to, stay tuned.
