Leak: Potential LG G6 Case Shows Dual-Camera and More

Among the smartphones slated to be launched at Mobile World Congress next month in Barcelona, the LG G6 is one of the more popular ones. And there has already been plenty of leaks about LG’s upcoming device, some from LG themselves and some from other sources. This time around, we’re looking at a case from a case manufacturer for the LG G6. The actual case doesn’t show a whole lot about the device, but we can see that the back will feature two cameras once again – with dual-LED flash between them – and a fingerprint below that. It’s tough to tell whether the fingerprint sensor will also be a power button, like it was on the LG G5 last year, but it is likely.

Since the only picture we have here of this case is showing the backside of the device, it’s unclear what the front may look like, or even the sides of the upcoming device. But it is rumored that LG is backing away from the modular design that they took a chance with last year on the LG G5. The LG G6 is all but confirmed to be shown off at Mobile World Congress next month, along with Samsung’s latest flagship and even Huawei’s own flagship device. Suffice to say, LG is going to have plenty of competition next month in Barcelona, with Samsung and Huawei bringing out the big guns.

As always, it’s important to note that this picture comes from a case manufacturer who likely has the dimensions of the LG G6, but doesn’t have an actual render or picture of the device. This render actually looks similar to one we saw rather recently. So it’s important to take this picture with a grain of salt, where the case manufacturer does have an idea of what to expect with the LG G6, the final design may be a bit different. Of course, we’ll find out all of the details at Mobile World Congress which is just over a month away. Things kick off in Barcelona on February 27th, with the majority of the announcements coming on February 25th and 26th.
