A new Huawei device called the SLA-AL00 has surfaced on TENAA sporting a 5-inch display that carries a 720p resolution and in typical Huawei fashion it comes in five different colors which are Black, Red, Gold, Pink, and Blue, though only a picture of the Black model seems to be available on the regulatory website. There isn’t much detail about what the actual name of this phone will be once it launches but there is more detail about the phone specifications which at the very least give an idea of what range of device it is.
According to the TENAA listing the phone comes powered by Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 425 quad-core processor which is paired with 2GB of RAM and 16GB of internal storage, and judging off the hardware so far it would appear that this is low-end device, as most mid-range smartphones tend to have FHD screens and usually have a slightly more powerful processor. The phone also comes with a full metal body which isn’t too uncommon for Huawei with most of their phones these days but it’s nice to see this type of material used in even the low-end devices.
Powering the device’s battery life looks to be a 2920mAh battery which is more than likely plenty for a device that only has an HD display and low-power consumption quad-core processor. A fingerprint sensor can also be seen on the back of the phone in the top center just while the rear-facing camera is tucked into the top left corner. Speaking of cameras, this device will feature a rear camera with a 13-megapixel sensor and an LED flash, while the front-facing camera features a 5-megapixel sensor for selfies and video chat. The phone weighs 145 g which isn’t too terribly heavy so it should feel light when carrying it around, and it looks like both the power button and volume up and down buttons are on the right side of the device, which probably means the left side is nearly free of anything aside from maybe the SIM tray. As with most Huawei smartphones this probably won’t see a launch in the US whenever it’s announced.
