Smartron is an India-based smartphone manufacturing company which just released a new smartphone, the Smartron srt.phone. The company hosted an event in India in order to release this phone, and this device which comes with a compelling spec sheet, but belongs in the mid-range category of smartphones. The phone comes with a removable back cover, and with it, you’re also getting unlimited tCloud storage. That being said, let’s take a look at the Smartron srt.phone’s specs, shall we.
The Smartron srt.phone sports a 5.5-inch fullHD (1920 x 1080) IPS display with Corning’s Gorilla Glass 3 protection on top of it. This phone is fueled by the Snapdragon 652 64-bit octa-core processor, which comes with the Adreno 510 GPU for graphics. The device packs in 4GB of LPDDR3 RAM and 32GB / 64GB of native storage which doesn’t seem to be expandable. A 13-megapixel shooter (f/2.0 aperture, PDAF) is placed on the back of this phone, and a 5-megapixel camera can be found on the phone’s front side and comes with a wide-angle lens. A fingerprint scanner is located on the back of the Smartron srt.phone, and the device offers two SIM card slots (2 x micro SIM). A 3,000mAh battery is also a part of this package, and so is Qualcomm’s Quick Charge 2.0 fast charging solution. A Type-C USB port is placed on the bottom of this device, and a 3.5mm headphone jack is also a part of the package. Android 7.1.1 Nougat comes pre-installed on this device, and the company said that the phone will get updated to Android O in the future. The device measures 153 x 77 x 8.9mm, while it weighs 155 grams.
The Smartron srt.phone comes in one color option only, Titanium Gray. The 32GB variant of the device is priced at Rs. 12,999, while the 64GB model costs Rs. 13,999.
