New OnePlus 5 Poster Leaks, Reaffirms June 15 Launch Date

The OnePlus 5’s launch is right around the corner, and a new leak basically reaffirms that the phone will arrive on June 15. If you take a look at the provided image, you will see yet another leaked image which suggests that the phone will launch on June 15, and this time around, DxO is also mentioned on the poster, and so is the ‘Hello 5’ caption which was teased by the company a couple of weeks ago when OnePlus confirmed that the OnePlus 5 will launch this summer. This leaked invitation also says that the phone will be announced in Shenzhen, China.

Now, we’ve already seen one such poster yesterday, though yesterday’s leak offered way less info, even though it also mentioned June 15 as a launch date for the OnePlus 5. That’s not all, though, OnePlus’ leaked email mentioned June 15 as well, and this seems to be a pattern at this point, three leaks have pointed to the very same date, and it would be really surprising if the device does not arrive on that date. Having said that, OnePlus already confirmed that the phone will be fueled by the Snapdragon 835 64-bit octa-core SoC, while the company also hinted that you can expect to see a front-facing fingerprint scanner, again, and that a 3.5mm headphone jack will be placed on the top of the device this time around. Now, OnePlus partnered up with DxO recently, and the company confirmed that DxO is helping them improve OnePlus 5’s camera in order to be one of the best in the market.

The OnePlus 5 will probably sport a dual camera setup on the back, well, at least pretty much every rumor that surfaced in the last couple of weeks suggested it will. The device will ship with 6GB or 8GB of RAM, and more than one internal storage option will become available, as per usual. Android Nougat will come pre-installed on the device, and on top of it, you’ll get OnePlus’ OxygenOS skin. The OnePlus 5 will probably be made out of metal, but it’s also possible that OnePlus might go with metal + glass build, we’ll see. That’s pretty much it, we’re expecting to see more rumors, leaks and official teasers before the phone arrives, so stay tuned.
