Two new LG smartphones that are going to be coming to Project Fi pretty soon, have just gone up for pre-order. That’s the LG G7 ThinQ and V35 ThinQ. Both of these will work with Project Fi and are being sold through the carrier’s website. Which means that they can be used on T-Mobile, Sprint and US Cellular networks, seeing as Project Fi does intelligently switch between all three networks based on your location. The LG G7 ThinQ is priced at $749 or $31.21 per month and the LG V35 ThinQ is priced at $899 or $37.46 per month.
These two new LG smartphones are actually pretty new, having only been announced in the last couple of months. The LG G7 ThinQ is the company’s global flagship that is available on T-Mobile, Sprint and Verizon already. This is a slightly smaller smartphone, and also has a LCD display instead of an OLED panel, and has the notch. That allows LG to give its users even more screen real-estate than the LG V35 ThinQ, which has the FullVision display without a notch. The LG V35 ThinQ also sports an OLED display and slightly more RAM (6GB versus 4GB on the G7 ThinQ). Otherwise these two are both powered by the Snapdragon 845 chipset and the G7 ThinQ has 64GB of storage with the V35 ThinQ having 128GB.
Both of these smartphones are great ones to pick up and do have tight integration with Google Assistant. You can use the Google Assistant to control things like your LG appliances, as well as opening the camera and taking a selfie and much more. The LG G7 ThinQ actually has a dedicated Google Assistant button, which is nice to see here, especially if you are a big Google Assistant user. Both of these smartphones are up for pre-order now on Project Fi’s website, but as of right now, there’s no word on when the devices will actually launch on Project Fi’s network.
