This certification could mean that the handset will be sold in the United States in the near future. According to the documents submitted by Lenovo to the telecommunications regulator, the Moto G7 Power will sport a 5,000mAh battery, which is considerably larger than the 2,820mAh battery found in the Moto G7.
Furthermore, the test reports provided by Lenovo also shows that there will be four different variants of the Moto G7, which primarily differ in the number of compatible LTE bands as well as support for the NFC protocol. One variant of the smartphone, which has the model number XT1955-1, will be sold in Brazil, and this variant supports the reception of digital television signals. On the other hand, another variant of the device, which has the unit number XT1955-2, will be available in other countries in the Latin American region and it is the only version of the device that can connect to networks running on LTE band 66. Lenovo will also likely sell two more models of the device to the rest of the world, and one of these handset versions, which has the model number XT1955-7, supports NFC, while the other variant is not compatible with the communications standard.
Another leak provided information about the specifications of the Moto G7 Power. According to recent reports, the Moto G7 Power will feature a Snapdragon 632 chipset, which contains eight Kryo 250 CPU cores clocked at up to 1.8GHz and the Adreno 506 GPU, and it is expected to include a 6.22-inch screen with an HD+ resolution and a notch located above the display. The handset will come in variants that include 2GB, 3GB, or 4GB of RAM, and consumers may choose among models that contain either 32GB or 64GB of internal flash storage. The Moto G7 Power will reportedly ship with one rear-facing camera equipped with a 12-megapixel sensor while a single front-facing camera will feature an 8-megapixel sensor with an aperture size of f/2.2.
