Samsung Galaxy Note10 Pro To Sport A Best-In-Series Battery

According to new info, the Samsung Galaxy Note10 Pro will ship with a 4,500mAh battery. If you take a look at the photo below the article, you will be able to see the battery itself, and this photo has been taken by Samsung SDI Vietnam.

Considering that the info is coming from Samsung SDI Vietnam, it’s safe to assume that this info is legit, especially if you take a look at the model number, DB-BN975ABU. The “N975” part definitely suggests this could be the Galaxy Note10 Pro’s battery, as the device is expected to ship with an “SM-N975” model number, while the regular Galaxy Note10 will carry the SM-N970 model number.

The provided image down below does not really reveal much, but it does reveal the battery capacity, and that is saying a lot. For comparison’s sake, the Galaxy S10+ includes a 4,100mAh unit on the inside, though truth be said, the Galaxy Note10 Pro is rumored to ship with a much larger display than the Galaxy S10+.

If rumors are to be believed, the Galaxy Note10 Pro will include a 6.75-inch QHD+ Dynamic AMOLED display, while the regular model will ship with a 6.3-inch QHD+ Dynamic AMOLED panel. It is still unknown what battery capacity will the Galaxy Note10 include, but considering its screen size, its battery could be similar to the one in the Galaxy S10+, so we’re presuming it will include a 4,000mAh or a 4,100mAh unit.

Rumors are claiming that both the Galaxy Note10 and Galaxy Note10 Pro will ship in both 4G and 5G variants, which effectively means that Samsung is planning to release four Galaxy Note10-branded smartphones. Those four models are expected to ship carrying SM-N970, SM-N975, SM-N971, and SM-N976 model numbers.

It is also worth saying that the Galaxy Note10e was mentioned in one rumor a while back, though considering that it hasn’t popped up recently, and a credible source did not really mention it thus far, the probability of that happening is not that high, especially considering that we’ll be getting four Galaxy Note10 handsets, if rumors are accurate.

The Galaxy Note10 series is expected to become official in August, prior to IFA, which will kick off at the beginning of September. Samsung still did not confirm anything, but the Galaxy Note9 arrived in August, and it makes all the sense in the world for the Galaxy Note10 to get a similar launch date. Samsung will probably aim for August not only to release the phone prior to IFA, but to push its Galaxy Note10 series to market before the next-gen iPhone models arrive.

The Galaxy Note10 and Note10 Pro will both be fueled by the Exynos 9820 / Snapdragon 855, depending on where you get them. The 5G models may arrive in the Snapdragon 855 variant only, though, we’ll see.

Both devices will be made out of metal and glass, and are expected to resemble the Galaxy S10-branded handsets. Android 9 Pie will come pre-installed on them with Samsung’s One UI Android overlay, while both Galaxy Note10 devices are expected to include a display camera hole, for either one or two cameras.
