The Samsung Galaxy Note10 5G variants have just surfaced on Geekbench. The Samsung SM-N976V and SM-N976B appeared, and by the looks of it, these could be the Galaxy Note10 5G variants for Verizon and Boost Mobile.
The Samsung SM-N971 and SM-N976 are expected to be the 5G variants of the Galaxy Note10, while the SM-N970 and SM-N975 will probably be 4G variants, at least based on the history of the Galaxy Note lineup and info provided by previous reports.
The Samsung SM-N976V which surfaced on Geekbench managed to score 3,529 points in the single-core and 10,840 points in the multi-core test on the benchmarking platform. That variant is fueled by the Snapdragon 855 64-bit octa-core processor, and it comes with 12GB of RAM. The listing also confirms that Android 9 Pie will come pre-installed on the phone.
The Samsung SM-N976B, on the other hand, is equipped by the Exynos 9825 64-bit octa-core processor, and the variant tested by Geekbench comes with 8GB of RAM. That phone managed to score 3,557 points in the single-core, and 9,654 points in the multi-core test. So it beat the Snapdragon 855 in the single-core test, but not in the multi-core one, though the results are comparable, as expected.
The Samsung Galaxy Note10 and Note10 5G variants are allegedly codenamed “Da Vinci” and “Da Vinci 5G”, reports claim. The Galaxy Note10 is rumored to include a 4,500mAh battery, and it could feature extremely fast wireless charging. Some reports even claim that the device will be equipped with 45W fast charging, which would be a huge improvement over the Galaxy Note9’s and Galaxy S10’s 15W charging.
The Galaxy Note10 is rumored to exclude a headphone jack, which would be a change compared its predecessor, and also the Galaxy S10 series. The Galaxy Note10 series is actually rumored to arrive in both Galaxy Note10 and Galaxy Note10 Pro variants, while the Galaxy Note10e had also been mentioned in a recent report. There are quite a few contradicting rumors out there at the moment.
Most rumors seem to indicate that we’ll see the Galaxy Note10 and Galaxy Note10 Pro, and both of those variants are expected to ship in 4G and 5G models. The Galaxy Note10 series is expected to sport a display camera hole(s), similar to the Galaxy S10 series, but it remains to be seen where will that camera hole(s) be located.
Some rumors claim that the position of the display camera hole(s) will remain unchanged, but that it will be smaller compared to the Galaxy S10 series. Other rumors say that Samsung is planning to center that display camera hole, placed it below the phone’s earpiece.
The Galaxy Note10 series is expected to arrive in August, a year after the Galaxy Note9, and prior to IFA in Berlin. The company is expected to announce both 4G and 5G variants of the device at the same time, though it is possible that they will not go on sale at the same time.
