The Galaxy Note10 has not yet been announced, but you can already reserve yours through Samsung’s website or through its own app.
On top of that, you can also see how much you’ll get when you trade-in your current smartphone. With some getting up to $600 off of the Galaxy Note10.
Those that own a Galaxy Note9, Galaxy S10, Galaxy S10+, Galaxy S10e, Google Pixel 3, Pixel 3 XL, iPhone XR, iPhone XS and iPhone XS Max, you will get $600 off of the price of the Galaxy Note10. From there, older phones do drop pretty quickly, to around $200 for a trade-in. Which still isn’t bad for a phone that is over a year old. And it makes things much simpler for getting rid of that old phone and getting the shiny new Galaxy Note10.
Samsung is only allowing you to reserve your Galaxy Note10 right now, essentially letting you register your interest in the device. So it’s not going to cost you anything to reserve yours now, and there’s nothing that says you have to buy the Galaxy Note10. You can back out of it, if you decide you don’t want it, after the thing is announced on August 7.
This is a really good way for Samsung to start getting people excited for the Galaxy Note10, and ramp up production of the device, so that it has enough units available when it goes on sale later next month.
The Galaxy Note10 is slated to be announced on August 7, at the company’s Unpacked event in New York City. It’ll be announced at the Barclay’s Center, the same venue that Samsung used for the Galaxy Note9 last year. So it’s going to be a pretty big event. Many are expecting Samsung to take the wraps off of a ton of new devices at this event. Including the Galaxy Note10 and Galaxy Note10+ as well as 5G variants of both phones. There’s also talk about the Galaxy Tab S6 coming, as well as the Galaxy Watch Active2 (which many think its too early for this to be announced). Lots of new toys are coming at Unpacked next month.
Samsung’s Galaxy Note10 is going to feature a smaller 6.3-inch display, while the Galaxy Note10+ will have a 6.8-inch display. Samsung is doing something interesting this year, offering up a cheaper Galaxy Note10 and then a larger, more powerful Galaxy Note10+. Both are going to be powered by the Snapdragon 855+ though, with at least 8GB of RAM and 256GB of storage inside. Only the Galaxy Note10+ is going to have a micro SD card slot though. But with 256GB of storage, that should be plenty of space for most people.
It’s an exciting time of year. Samsung is going to be kicking off the fall lineup of phone announcements. After the Galaxy Note10 is announced on August 7, many more will be announced at IFA a few weeks later. With the iPhone in mid-September and the new Pixel in early-October. Many might say that this is the best time of the year.
