Both the Samsung Galaxy Note10 and Note10+ leaked in renders yesterday, from legible sources, and now both devices appeared at the FCC (Federal Communications Commission). The Galaxy Note10 certification listing did share three image of the device, according to 91mobiles, but we were not able to find it in the listing itself. In any case, you can check out those images in the gallery down below, if you want.
To make things clear, FCC actually certified three different Galaxy Note10 models, the SM-N975F, and the SM-N975X (its dual SIM variant). The Galaxy Note10+ also appeared under the model number SM-N976B.
The Galaxy Note10 listing basically confirms that the phone will not sport a 3.5mm headphone jack, while they also confirm the phone’s sharp corners. The provided images confirm that a display hole will be a part of the phone’s design, as the leaked renders suggested.
The phone’s rear-facing triple camera setup is shown in one of the images, along with laser autofocus and an LED flash. An earpiece will be located at the very top of the Galaxy Note10, while its S Pen stylus will be tucked away at the very bottom of the phone, on the right side of its bottom portion.
This FCC listing confirms yet another design-related detail that many people will appreciate, the fact that a Bixby button is no longer there. Many people have been complaining about that button, as not many people use it on Samsung’s smartphones, so it seems like the company decided to listen to complaints, and remove it. FCC’s listing also confirms that the Galaxy Note10 will be 77.6mm wide, and 163.5mm tall.
Not a single Galaxy Note10+ image was shared by the FCC, but based on the leaks we’ve seen, it will look extremely similar to the Galaxy Note10. The Galaxy Note10+ will be a larger phone, and it will include an extra camera sensor on the back, quite possibly a ToF camera, but other than that, the two devices will offer the same design.
Both of those phones will be made out of metal and glass, and both will include a curved display on the front. We’re looking at a QHD+ Dynamic AMOLED panel on both phones, and both devices are expected to arrive on August 7, for when the company scheduled its next Unpacked event.
The Galaxy Note10 and Note10+ will have a centered display camera hole, unlike the Galaxy S10, S10+, and S10 5G, who include such a hole in the top-right corner of their displays. Samsung is allegedly planning to release four Galaxy Note10 variants in total, as both the Galaxy Note10 and Note10+ will be available in 4G and 5G variants.
Both phones are expected to include rather large batteries on the inside, while both will ship with Android 9 Pie out of the box, and Samsung’s One UI skin on top of it. Both devices are also expected to offer a three-stage variable aperture, and will be the first phones in the market to offer such camera functionality… presuming that the rumors and accurate, of course.
