The Motorola Edge+ has just surfaced yet again, this time in several renders, which show off the device from all angles. These renders have been shared by Evan Blass, and they seem to be official.
These Motorola Edge+ renders show the device from all angles, in two color variants
Mr. Blass shared two color variants of the device, Blue and Red. As you can see, the phone will be made out of metal and glass, and feature really thin bezels.
A display camera hole will sit in the top-left corner of the phone’s display. Its bezels will be almost non-existent, and a waterfall display will consume both the front side of the phone, and its sides.
The back side of the device will also be curved, to a degree. On the back, you’ll notice three vertically-aligned cameras. Next to them, an LED flash sits, along with some additional sensors.
Those three cameras will protrude on the back, quite a bit. That is easily visible if you take a look at the device from the side. That is also not all that surprising considering that the main camera on this phone will include a 108-megapixel sensor.
Motorola’s logo is placed on the back of the phone, and despite some earlier rumors, it doesn’t seem to double as an LED notification light. CAD-based renders of the device that surfaced, suggested that an LED notification ring light will be available around that logo.
All the physical keys will be placed on the right-hand side of the device. That includes the power / lock button, above which you’ll notice the volume up and down keys.
A 3.5mm headphone jack will be included in the package
A 3.5mm headphone jack will be a part of this package. It will be included at the very top of the device. A Type-C port, on the other hand, will be placed at the bottom.
This handset surfaced several times thus far, while its mid-range counterpart appeared yesterday. The mid-range version of this flagship will be called the Motorola Edge.
These Motorola Edge+ renders did show us the device from all angles, but what about its specs? Well, if rumors are to be believed, this device will feature a 6.67-inch fullHD+ display. That display will offer a 90Hz refresh rate.
A 5,170mAh battery has also been mentioned, and the same goes for 12GB of RAM. The Snapdragon 865 will fuel this smartphone, and that is basically all the info that surfaced thus far.
We’re still not sure when will the Motorola Edge+ launch, but it’s probably coming soon. This will be the company’s first flagship after quite some time, and it does look quite appealing. Let’s see how much will it cost, though, as that will play a huge part in its sales.
