OnePlus could be getting ready to announce four new smartphones. Some indirectly official information surfaced online, and yes, that’s a rather odd sentence, but hear us out.
Evan Blass discovered four guides (linked below) for the company’s unannounced devices. Those guides actually got listed on the company’s official website, as Mr. Blass shared the links for them. Do note that the links are not working as of writing this article.
Four new OnePlus smartphones coming, and the 8T Pro could be one of them
To make things interesting, those links themselves reveal quite a bit. What’s most interesting here, the OnePlus 8T Pro is mentioned. One of the devices seems to be the OnePlus 8T Pro.
That is extremely surprising, as Max J., one of the best-known tipsters out there, said that the 8T Pro model won’t launch at all. This guide says otherwise, though, so we’re wondering what’s going on here.
Max J. did not go back on his tweet, or anything of the sort, so we’re wondering what’s happening. Perhaps OnePlus planned on launching the device, but gave up along the way.
What’s sure is, that the OnePlus 8T is coming. A guide for that phone surfaced on the site as well. Alongside those two guides, the OnePlus Nord N100 and N105G were also mentioned. A fifth guide is for a mysterious OnePlus ‘SS9805’ device, we’re really not sure what that is.
We could just take a wild guess and say that is the rumored OnePlus Watch smartwatch. That’s just a wild guess, so take it with a grain of salt, it could be another smartphone as well, who knows.
The OnePlus Watch is also on the way
Max J. reported recently that the OnePlus Watch is not only coming, but that it will feature a round body and display. That device will probably launch alongside the OnePlus 8T.
The OnePlus Nord 100 and Nord 105g devices could be the company’s upcoming budget phones. The ones that are fueled by the Snapdragon 600 series phones. Or one of them could be the one with the Snapdragon 460 SoC, we’ll see.
Evan Blass added that the pricier of these two models will cost around €300. These two phones are supposed to be even more affordable than the OnePlus Nord that OnePlus introduced a while back.
We’re not sure when will the two OnePlus Nord devices launch, but the OnePlus 8T is expected to arrive either in September or October. The OnePlus 7T series got announced back in September last year.
The OnePlus 8T is expected to ship with Android 11 out of the box, and OxygenOS 11. The phone will likely include a display camera hole, though it will probably be a centered one. The Snapdragon 865 Plus will likely be included, and the same goes for fast charging, both wired and wireless.
