Samsung Galaxy S20 FE Now Spotted On Verizon Website

A few days back, the yet-to-be-announced Galaxy S20 FE (a.k.a Galaxy S20 Fan Edition) was accidentally listed on Samsung Philippines’ official website. It gave us the first look at the device in a couple of color options. Now, the Galaxy S20 FE was spotted on the Verizon website by Roland Quandt.

Besides inadvertently confirming the US launch, this new leak also gives the device’s 360-degree view. Furthermore, the leaked color options include Cloud Navy, Cloud Mint, Cloud Lavender, and Cloud Red. Both the Cloud Navy and Cloud Lavendar variants already appeared on Samsung’s official website.

Galaxy S20 FE listing on Verizon confirms the US launch

Earlier today, Samsung has announced to hold the “Galaxy Unpacked for Every Fan” event on September 23. It is the company’s third unpacked event in less than two months. As per the rumors, the Galaxy S20 FE will be launched on that day. It is one of the worst kept secrets in the Galaxy S20 lineup.

As of now, there is no word on the pricing of this device. For the Galaxy S20 FE 5G, the Verizon variant with mmWave 5G support will cost around $100 more than the 5G variant with just sub-6GHz support.

On the front, the device sports a flat panel display featuring a punch-hole selfie camera. As seen on the other flagship Galaxy smartphones launched in 2020, the Galaxy S20 FE also includes a large rectangular camera module on the top left corner. It comes with triple rear cameras and an LED flash.

The recent TENAA certification in China also revealed the complete specifications of the device. Unlike the recently launched Galaxy Note 20, the 6.5-inch Super AMOLED Infinity-O display on this new Galaxy device comes with a 120Hz refresh rate. It might be running on the latest One UI 2.5 based on Android 10 out of the box.

Expected to finally launch on September 23

It will either sport Qualcomm Snapdragon 865 processor or the Exynos 990 processor, depending on the market. There will be 6GB of RAM and 128GB of internal storage onboard. The device should also come with a MicroSD card slot for further expansion of storage.

The leaks also hint the device to come with AKG-tuned stereo speakers and IP68 certification for water and dust resistance. It packs in a 4,500mAh battery with just 15W fast charging support. With all the flagship hardware, the Galaxy S20 FE could become the most affordable Galaxy flagship smartphone to launch in 2020.
