Galaxy Note 10 Lite Android 11 One UI 3.0 Update Rolling Out

The Galaxy Note 10 Lite is the latest Samsung smartphone to receive the Android 11 based One UI 3.0 update. The affordable S Pen wielding Galaxy device is currently picking up the latest iteration of Samsung’s custom Android skin in France. The update is rolling out with software version N770FXXU7DUA8 in the region. It also bundles the January 2021 Android security patch.

Samsung started rolling out the One UI 3.0 update for the Galaxy Note 10 Lite in France earlier this week. Expect the company to expand the rollout to more regions in the coming weeks. As always, it’s an incremental update and may not be available to download for all eligible units simultaneously. You should receive a notification once the over the air (OTA) update reaches your Galaxy Note 10 Lite.

You can also manually check for updates by navigating to the Software update menu in your phone’s Settings app and then tapping Download and install. Since it is a major update, we suggest you connect your phone to a stable WI-Fi network before downloading the OTA file.

The Android 11 based One UI 3.0 brings tons of goodies to Samsung smartphones. It packs all the perks that the Android 11 has to offer, along with additional tweaks and add-ons from Samsung. A new and feature-rich keyboard, support for chat bubbles, redesigned volume controls, improved privacy and security controls, and a redesigned UI are to name a few.

Galaxy Note 10 Lite picks the Android 11 based One UI 3.0 update

Samsung has been impressive with its Android 11 update rollout this year. Having done seeding the latest version of One UI to its flagship models, the company has shifted its focus to its extensive lineup of budget and mid-range offerings. The Galaxy Note 10 Lite is now the latest beneficiary of Samsung’s One UI 3.0.

Samsung launched the Galaxy Note 10 Lite in January last year. It is essentially an affordable alternative to its S Pen wielding Galaxy Note lineup. The device arrived with Android 10 out of the box. So this is the first major Android OS update for the phone.

While you were probably hoping to get Android updates until Android 12 when you bought the phone, you might rejoice to learn that the Galaxy Note 10 Lite will get Android 13 as well. Samsung recently doubled down on its software support policy, promising to offer Android OS updates for up to three years to its flagship models and select mid-range handsets. The new policy also covers the Galaxy Note 10 Lite.

Anyways, the device is currently getting its first major Android OS update to Android 11. Galaxy Note 10 Lite users, be on the lookout for this update in the coming days and weeks.
