HP unveils its Voyager Free 60 TWS earbuds at CES

CES 2023 is going on now, and a ton of top tech brands are showcasing their latest products and concepts. HP just pulled the wraps off of its new Voyager Free 60 TWS earbuds. These aim to make hybrid work life easier.

While the Covid-19 pandemic has cooled in the past few years, people are still confined to a hybrid work life. This means that they spend a lot of their time working from home rather than in the office. This can be a pain and a strain for several companies that rely on face-to-face interactions.

The HP Voyager 60 Free earbuds aim to help hybrid work life easier

For this event, HP unveiled several products that are targeted at the frustrated office worker who’s stuck at home. Of these products, we have the upcoming HP Voyager 60 Free line of TWS earbuds. This line includes a base variant and a “+” variant as well.

These earbuds come with three microphones on each earpiece to use for hybrid and Active Noise Cancelation. This makes them perfect for using in noisy coffee shops or houses. With the ANC on, the company promises that you’ll have up to 5.5 hours of talk time on a single charge (16.5 with the charging case).

If you’re planning on using these earbuds for listening to content, you can get up to 8 hours on a single charge (24 hours with the charging case). Those figures with ANC on, so you’ll be able to get more mileage with it turned off.

In terms of charging, the charging case can charge the earbuds from 0% to 100% in about two hours. However, you should be able to get about 1 hour and 12 minutes of talk time on a 15-minute charge. This should be about the length of a standard business meeting. The case itself fully charges fully in about three hours.

So, what makes the Voyager Free 60+ a more compelling offer? Well, it mostly comes down to the case. The base model comes with the standard charging case, but the “+” model comes with a smart charge case. This charging case has a little OLED touchscreen. Using this, you’re able to view your battery level, control/mute your volume, and view the call status. Also, this smart charge case comes with a 3.5mm headphone jack so you can connect the earbuds to non-Bluetooth devices.
